LM 100

Features

 This read out unit is designed to measure the output power of different lasers in combination with a thermophile head. The maximum power is limited by the power head used.

 Normally, the time constant of a power head is in the region of 15 to 25 seconds. Use of the read out unit enables reduction of the time constant of the whole measurement system to one second.

 A special adapter is required for connecting the head (15pin Sub-D to BNC). This adapter is used for matching sensitivity and thermal characteristic.

 The LM 100 is equipped with a rechargeable battery and charging unit. The LM 100 can be operated either using the mains supply or the rechargeable built-in batteries. This makes it versatile and adaptable to most applications.

 The batteries are automatically charged when the instrument is plugged into the mains AC power supply. The batteries can also be charged when the LM 100 is turned off. The charging circuit prevents the batteries from being overcharged. The state of the batteries and the charging circuit is displayed by two LEDs.

 A touch panel and function keys make this device comfortable and easy to handle.

 The preamplifiers integrated into the device and the choice of sensor sensitivity allow a wide range of sensor heads to be used.

 The large graphic display offers space for a variety of display and analysis choices. The digital display can be used for determining the energy, frequency and average power. The analogue part with its bar graph display is useful for laser adjustments, for example. Laser stability can be monitored using the data logger and statistics window.

 The LEM2410 is equipped with an USB interface and with a TCP/IP network connector. These ports allow remote control and transference of measurement data to a PC. In addition, an MMC/SD Card slot for saving data to is integrated within the instrument.

LEM 2510

 This OEM-Meter is assembled in a standard cassette for the industrial 19” system. It has a width of 21TE.

 A touch panel and function keys make this device comfortable and easy to handle.

 The preamplifiers integrated into the device and the choice of sensor sensitivity, allow to use a wide range of sensor heads.

 The large graphic display offers space for a variety of display and analysis choices.

 The digital display can be used for determining the energy, frequency and average power.

 The analogue part with it's bar graph display is useful, e.g. for laser adjustments. Laser stability can be monitored using the data logger and statistics window.

 The LEM 2510 is equipped with a RS232 interface and with a TCP/IP network connector. These ports allows remote control and transferring of all measuring data to a PC.

PM 200

Features

 In the past laser energy meters often required a whole selection of pyroelectric detectors for measuring different energies. From this point of view the PM 200 is a very modest instrument.

 A single detector enables monitoring of energies from the detection limit at 3 µJ up to highest energies of 200 mJ. The active sensor area with an aperture diameter of 34 mm ensures simple and reliable alignment for the detection of large beam profiles.

 For fast and comfortable tuning alignments the pulse energies are displayed by an analogue meter. Simultaneously, a 3.5 digit LCD display gives the precise value of single shot energies for accurate fine adjustments.

 The common practice of continuously switching meter ranges has essentially been made obsolete by the digital readout.

 A further feature of the PM 200 is the effective suppression of noise by the signal preamplifier that is directly built into the sensor head. The ‘Sync Out’ output supplies TTL pulses for synchronisation.

 In addition the detector signal can be observed (e.g. by an oscilloscope) using the BNC socket. This output delivers a DC voltage proportional to the measured pulse energy e.g. for connecting a chart recorder.

 Optional intelligent RS 232 interface for remote control and data acquisition via computer.
